Wellbeing and Mental Health
At Harper Green School, we are committed to promoting positive health and wellbeing across our whole school community. We recognise that good emotional wellbeing plays an important role in helping students feel happy, build resilience, achieve their potential and thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
We strive to create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where every student feels valued, respected and able to access support whenever they need it. Through our pastoral care, personal development curriculum and wider school community, we encourage students to develop confidence, positive relationships and healthy coping strategies.
If you are concerned about your own wellbeing, or that of your child, we encourage you to speak to a member of our Pastoral Team, who will be happy to listen and discuss the support available.

Support in School
Students can access support from a range of staff across the school, including their Form Tutor, Pastoral Year Team and other trusted members of staff. Where appropriate, we work with parents, carers and external agencies to ensure students receive the support they need.
If a student is experiencing difficulties with their mental health or emotional wellbeing, we encourage them to speak to a member of staff as soon as possible so we can offer appropriate guidance and support.
